v0.1 · Evidence Package Frozen

Physical Ground Truth for Robotics and Embodied AI

AIVIA has completed and frozen a 10-object evidence package with repeatable photo-and-measurement documentation, validation, and audit-ready traceability.

The Problem

Robotics and embodied AI lack reliable physical reference data

Simulation environments depend on accurate physical ground truth — precise measurements, mass, object dimensions, and validated documentation. Without it, robots trained in simulation fail to generalise in the real world.

No standardized measurement protocol

Teams manually re-measure objects with inconsistent methodology and tooling, producing non-auditable results.

Assets built from unverified data create persistent simulation drift that cannot be corrected downstream.

No audit-ready traceability

No audit-ready traceability

Enterprise and research deployments require documentation chains that can be validated and reviewed by technical teams or partners.

The Solution

Physical Ground Truth — a frozen, repeatable evidence package

AIVIA’s Physical Ground Truth (PGT) methodology delivers structured, photo-and-measurement documentation for physical objects. Each PGT package is repeatable, auditable, and version-controlled — forming a traceable foundation for robotics simulation assets.

Repeatable documentation

Structured photo sequences, measured dimensions and mass, and dimensional records captured with a defined, repeatable SOP.

Validation and acceptance

Validation step confirms measurement quality and completeness — each object is formally accepted or rejected before inclusion.

Audit-ready traceability

Full documentation chain: who captured, when, with what method — packaged for enterprise review or technical review or future audit.

Version-controlled assets

Each evidence package is versioned and frozen at a specific scope — v0.1 is photo-and-measurement. Future versions add geometry and simulation prep.

PGT-10 · Evidence Package

10 objects captured, validated, and accepted

The PGT-10 is a frozen, completed evidence package. Each object has been measured, photographed to specification, validated, and formally accepted. Zero objects pending.

What’s Included

The PGT-10 Evidence Package

v0.1 scope is a frozen photo-and-measurement evidence package. Future versions (v0.2+) will extend to 3D geometry, mesh alignment, and simulation-ready asset preparation.

Included · v0.1

Structured photo sequences

Multi-angle photography per defined SOP: top, front, side, detail, and contextual views for each object.

Included · v0.1

Measured dimensions and mass

Bounding box dimensions, mass, and key surface measurements recorded with documented measurement tools and catalogued per object.

Included · v0.1

Validation records

Review step confirming each measurement meets defined quality thresholds. Formal accept/reject status recorded per object.

Included · v0.1

Audit-ready documentation

Full capture metadata: date, operator, equipment, environment — packaged for enterprise review.

v0.2 · Roadmap

3D geometry capture

Not included in v0.1. RealityScan capture, mesh alignment, and processed scans are future roadmap scope.

v0.2 · Roadmap

Simulation-ready asset prep

Not included in v0.1. Simulation asset library preparation is a planned extension in a future release.

Who It’s For

Built for teams that need ground-truth data

AIVIA’s PGT packages serve the earliest stage of the robotics data pipeline — before simulation asset creation, before training, before deployment.

Robotics research labs

Use PGT data as input ground truth for simulation environment alignment, manipulation task datasets, and policy training.

Embodied AI developers

Anchor language models and perception models to verified physical dimensions — reducing hallucinated or approximate spatial reasoning.

Dataset procurement teams

Accelerate procurement cycles by sourcing structured, pre-validated physical reference data that meets documentation standards.

Simulation environment vendors

License or integrate PGT measurement records into simulation pipelines to produce higher-fidelity physics and geometry.
